1. Orders and Payments
Where are your clogs made and what are they made of?
Our Bresco Clogs are handmade in Poland by a family business who have been making clogs for over 25 years. The base is made of 100% Alder wood and the leather is chrome-free and vegetable tanned from Poland. The metal staples and skid-resistant rubber soles are made in Poland.
Do I need a customer account to place an order?
No, you do not require a customer account. You can also place an order as a guest.
What are your payment methods?
Our payments are handled by Stripe and PayPal. We accept all major credit cards, Apple pay and Google pay.
2. Sizing and Care
How do I know what size I am?
Our clogs can vary in size depending on the style of clog so please refer to the size guide of the specific clogs you want. We suggest downsizing in the low wood, low braid, low peep toe and low wood open clogs as they do come up large. If you are not sure, please contact us, we will try to help you choose the correct one.
My heel “slips” when I walk in my clogs. Is this normal?
Yes, clogs are designed like this so it’s perfectly normal.
Will the leather stretch?
Yes, the leather will stretch with wear and shape to fit your feet perfectly.
Which leathers do you use for your clogs?
At Bresco Clogs we carefully select all of our materials, and we use only the finest leathers to craft our clogs. We use two different types of leathers: real leather, suede leather, nubuck leather and vegan leather.
Different types of leather have a distinct look and feel, which gives each a unique texture and color.
Are any of your clogs vegan or vegetarian?
Yes, you'll find our Vegan Clogs range here
My clogs chipped on the wood clog heel. What can I do?
Wood is a natural material that is subject to cracking when struck by hard objects, so care must be taken when wearing the clogs. This is not considered a manufacturing defect and Bresco Clogs cannot accept these on return as a quality defect. Please use caution and care with your wooden clogs.
How should I care for my clogs?
When you first receive your clogs use a waterproof spray such as scotch guard before you start wearing them. We do not recommend wearing clogs in the rain as they are made from natural materials. Please refer to the looking after your clogs page for more details.
My braided clogs feel tight, what shall I do?
The braids can be a little tight straight out of the box but you can stretch the braids individually by hand quite successfully. Holding the clog firmly in one hand, start at the back and work forward stretching each braid in turn. Don’t jerk but pull progressively. You will feel the leather give. Just do a little bit on each braid and then try on. Repeat until the fit is tight but not too tight. From there just wear them and they will mould themselves to the shape of your foot.
